One of the biggest challenges small brands face on social media? Not knowing what to post. You’re busy running the business, managing orders, replying to customers… and then suddenly realize, “Oops, I haven’t posted in days.”
As a content photographer, I work with many businesses who feel the same way. That’s why during our shoot, I don’t just focus on pretty visuals — I help you create a library of scroll-stopping, reusable content for weeks (even months) ahead.

So, what should you be posting weekly?
Here’s a breakdown of easy-to-plan content types — all of which I can help you capture during your next shoot:
1. 🛍️ Product Focus Posts
These are your hero shots. Showcase your products beautifully, clearly, and in a way that reflects your brand style.
✅ Examples:
Flat lay of your latest item
Close-up detail shots
Group shot of a collection or bundle
📸 Choose one shootings style and keep to it!
2. 🌈 Styled Lifestyle Shots
Bring your products into context! These visuals help customers imagine how to use, wear, or gift your items — and they feel more relatable.
✅ Examples:
Product in a certain mood set up
Styled scenes with props that reflect your brand colours
Morning routine with your product in use
📸 Perfect for carousel posts or Reels covers
3. 🗣️ Educational or Value-Based Posts
Share helpful tips, usage ideas, or behind-the-scenes info that adds value — and positions you as an expert.
✅ Examples:
Scene that your products will be used
Ingredient or material spotlight
📸 Tip: Share the key ingredients or raw materials you use in your product — this helps me incorporate the right elements into the shoot for a more authentic and cohesive visual story.
4. 💬 Testimonial or Review Graphics
Don’t let positive feedback sit in your inbox! Turn them into beautiful posts that build trust.
✅ Examples:
Overlay real reviews on product photos
Pair customer stories with lifestyle images
📸 Tip: I can shoot clean backgrounds for easy quote overlays, usually with a space on the top of the image for you to insert any text you want.
5. 🗓️ Seasonal or Promo Announcements
Sales, launches, or festive collections — these deserve standout visuals that grab attention fast.
✅ Examples:
“New Launch” teaser photos
“Back in stock” announcement images
Themed seasonal shots (without looking too cliché)
📸 These can be planned ahead and styled to match your next campaign
You don’t need to post daily. But with just 2–3 well-planned content types each week, your brand can show up consistently — and with intention.
That’s where I come in: I help you build a versatile content library filled with branded, purposeful visuals that keep your feed active and aligned with your voice.
